COVID-19

We have implemented extraordinary precautions in order to protect the health and safety of our patients and our staff. Learn more about our office’s response to COVID-19 below.

• All staff members have received extensive training in sanitizing our facilities as well as in the proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE).

• We have installed best of class air filtration systems in each operatory. See our Technology page for detailed information regarding all our new devices used for infection control.

• To limit the potential spread of illness, we will be screening all patients prior to entry into our office. In addition, staff members are screened each morning before beginning their day. All staff wear masks at all times, and we have installed sneeze guards at the front desk for everyone’s protection.

• For your protection and the protection of those around you, we require that all those entering the office arrive wearing a mask. Please note that we cannot allow masks with valves.*

• We request that you come to your appointment alone unless bringing a visitor is critical to your appointment.

• In some cases, if you arrive more than 20 minutes early for your appointment, you may be asked to wait in your car and we will call you when it is time to check in.

As always, the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. These measures are in place to ensure patients can access the care they need in the safest possible manner. See below for further recommendations from the CDC and the Santa Barbara County Public Health Department.

*Masks with valves no longer comply with Santa Barbara County Public Health Department requirements. This is because the valve permits respiratory droplets to easily escape, which places others at risk. If you wear an N95 or other mask with a one-way valve, we will request that you wear a cloth mask to cover it.
